Welcome to PushPod
What is it?
This is a beta test of the upcoming PushPod platform.
I have found that there wasn't a good way to stream my local library of Audiobooks. So I created PushPod to turn files stored in cloud storage (Currently Dropbox or OneDrive) into a personal podcast stream.
This is only a very early version, but I really wanted to get it out into the wild and get some feedback! If you would like to get into contact with me, please email [email protected].
I have alot of ideas and features that I would like to add. Just need the time :).
How does it work?
- Connect your storage account (you can have multiples of each type)
- Add a folder under the PushPod directory, this will become the name of your Podcast (Click the Storage Folder link on the Storage Account or this folder can be found under the 'Apps' folder in your cloud storage).
- Add media (Audio or Video) to the folder you just created
- Go to podcasts, click update if your podcasts are not there yet.
- Copy the RSS link to your favourite podcast player! For more info on how to do that click here!
